5th grade recycle, shoebox house

My 5th grade students loved making their own rooms.
Here is the result- They also did the background!

We all collected so much stuff- you can see just a sample on the table ( it was also put there to prevent little hands from touching.....)

Here are some close-ups from the individual work they've done:
Johanna's bathroom, kitchens, shops ( Zoo shop and icecream parlours)
Reuven even made a library but got tired while doing all the books- so one wall is still waiting fot the books to be arranged.
Zacharia always wanted to work as a forester , so this is the room he made . He did not forget plants or a fire.
Aaron made a shed unbelievably detailed, and Eljada made a detailed room in red, white and blue.
I find all their work so creative! They realy were a great team to work and think together.
It took about 3 session of two hours each.

  4. Fantastic! These appeal to the child in us all, I love them... and I'll bet the kids had a wonderful time constructing them! I'd love you to visit me at Dream Painters :)
